WHY WISDOM ACADEMY
Wisdom Academy has uniquely designed programming, incorporating academic rigor with a real-world focus on Character Education, Technological Expertise, Professional Trainings and Entrepreneurial Skills; all of which will be interwoven throughout all facets of the educational experience at Wisdom Academy.
The tenets of the Wisdom Academy educational experience are set forth with an adherence to Academic Rigor, as noted in the Wisdom Academy Charter.
Wisdom Academy is committed to employing teachers and administrators who are uniquely qualified and trained to address student achievement needs and to collaborating closely with families and community members to build a strong alliance for an exceptional educational experience for Wisdom Academy students.
Parents/Guardians are an integral component of the educational process at Wisdom Academy. Two parents of students attending Wisdom Academy will be chosen to serve on the Governing Board of Wisdom Academy.
Teachers and staff will meet quarterly with parents/guardians to review student progress via the Individual Performance Plan for Success (IPPS), identify strengths and weaknesses and put forth suggestions for next steps in their child’s education. In this way, everyone responsible for education of each child is held accountable.
Data will be shared with parents/guardians at regularly held quarterly meetings via the IPPS. The IPPS will be a transparent and continual record all facets of student progress and achievement throughout the child’s tenure at Wisdom Academy.
True Community Involvement is key to the success of the students at Wisdom Academy. Staff, Administration and Governing Board members will actively recruit expertise in our community to enhance all aspects of the educational experience.
