Thanks to a new partnership through the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering and the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering & Mineral Resources at West Virginia University, Wisdom Academy Students were treated to an introduction to Robotics on Wednesday, September 24.
Annie Harmon is the Outreach Coordinator for the WVU Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering. She teaches robotics and engineering programs for youth through school visits, at summer camps, and during community events. Her professional background is in STEM teaching and experiential education. Annie enjoys teaching robotics because it combines logic and problem-solving with teamwork, good communication, and fun!
